This keto halal zucchini beef casserole is a rich, cheesy, low-carb baked dish made with seasoned ground beef, tender zucchini, and melted cheese.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb halal ground beef
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 medium zucchini (cubed)
- 4 oz cream cheese (halal-certified)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
- Parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) and grease a baking dish.
- Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Cook until beef is fully browned, about 5–7 minutes.
- Add zucchini and cook briefly until slightly softened.
- Stir in cream cheese until melted and fully combined.
- Mix in half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
- Transfer mixture to baking dish and top with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

- Use halal-certified dairy and beef.
- Do not overcook zucchini to avoid excess water.
