Description

This keto halal zucchini beef casserole is a rich, cheesy, low-carb baked dish made with seasoned ground beef, tender zucchini, and melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb halal ground beef
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 medium zucchini (cubed)
  • 4 oz cream cheese (halal-certified)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • Parsley (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cook until beef is fully browned, about 5–7 minutes.
  5. Add zucchini and cook briefly until slightly softened.
  6. Stir in cream cheese until melted and fully combined.
  7. Mix in half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  8. Transfer mixture to baking dish and top with remaining cheese.
  9. Bake for 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use halal-certified dairy and beef.
  • Do not overcook zucchini to avoid excess water.
