Ingredients
- 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup tomato sauce (or pesto)
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup pepperoni (or bell peppers for a lighter option)
- 1/4 cup hot honey
- 1 cup fresh basil
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 500°F (260°C) with a pizza stone or baking sheet inside for 30 minutes.
- Roll out pizza dough into a 12-inch round on a floured surface.
- Spread tomato sauce evenly, leaving a ½-inch border.
- Add mozzarella cheese and pepperoni slices.
- Dollop ricotta cheese across the pizza.
- Bake for 8–12 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Drizzle hot honey over the hot pizza.
- Top with fresh basil and red pepper flakes, then slice and serve.
