Description

Hot Honey Pepperoni Ricotta Pizza is a bold and flavorful pizza topped with spicy pepperoni, creamy ricotta, mozzarella, and a sweet heat drizzle of hot honey.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup tomato sauce (or pesto)
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup pepperoni (or bell peppers for a lighter option)
  • 1/4 cup hot honey
  • 1 cup fresh basil
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 500°F (260°C) with a pizza stone or baking sheet inside for 30 minutes.
  2. Roll out pizza dough into a 12-inch round on a floured surface.
  3. Spread tomato sauce evenly, leaving a ½-inch border.
  4. Add mozzarella cheese and pepperoni slices.
  5. Dollop ricotta cheese across the pizza.
  6. Bake for 8–12 minutes until golden and crispy.
  7. Drizzle hot honey over the hot pizza.
  8. Top with fresh basil and red pepper flakes, then slice and serve.

Notes

  • Let pizza cool slightly before slicing for cleaner cuts.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze up to 2 months.
  • Add extra hot honey for a sweeter-spicy kick.
