These Easy Meatballs are tender, juicy, and packed with flavor using just a handful of simple ingredients. Perfect as an appetizer, served with pasta, or simmered in your favorite sauce.
Ingredients
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
- 2 teaspoons chopped fresh basil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, Italian seasoning, basil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Add ground beef and panko bread crumbs; mix thoroughly until combined.
- Shape mixture into about 40 golf ball-sized meatballs (approximately 1½ inches each).
- Arrange meatballs on ungreased rimmed baking sheets.
- Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking.
- Cook until browned and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Serve immediately or simmer in your favorite sauce for extra moisture and flavor.
Notes
- For extra juicy meatballs, simmer them in marinara sauce after baking.
- These meatballs can be cooked in an air fryer at 375°F for 8–10 minutes.
- Freeze cooked meatballs for up to 3 months.
- Fresh basil adds the best flavor, but dried basil may be substituted.
