Description

Delicious Cruffins with Cinnamon are a delightful sweet pastry combining the flaky texture of croissants with a cinnamon-sugar filling, baked to golden perfection.


Ingredients

  • 3 tubes (227 g each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 200 grams granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 175°C. Lightly grease a standard 12-cup muffin tin with nonstick spray.
  2. Unroll one tube of crescent roll dough onto a lightly floured surface to form a rectangle and seal perforations.
  3. Spread 2 tablespoons softened butter evenly over the dough. Mix sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle generously over the buttered dough.
  4. Starting at the short end, roll the dough tightly into a log. Cut lengthwise and coil each half into a spiral. Place into a muffin cup.
  5. Repeat with remaining dough to fill all 12 muffin cups.
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. While warm, brush with melted butter and roll in remaining cinnamon-sugar.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Add chopped nuts or chocolate chips for extra flavor.
  • Best served fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
