Description

These Cream Cheese Cinnamon Sugar Rolls are soft, gooey, and irresistibly sweet with a creamy cheesecake-style filling wrapped in flaky dough and coated in buttery cinnamon sugar. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 package crescent roll dough or puff pastry
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (coating)
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon (coating)


Instructions

  1. Mix cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon until smooth.
  2. Roll out dough and cut into squares.
  3. Add 1–2 tsp filling to each square and seal tightly.
  4. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12–15 minutes until golden.
  5. Alternatively air fry at 350°F for 6–8 minutes.
  6. Brush warm rolls with melted butter.
  7. Roll in cinnamon sugar mixture until fully coated.
  8. Serve warm for best gooey texture.

Notes

  • Seal edges tightly to prevent filling leakage.
  • Do not overfill rolls.
  • Best served warm for gooey center.
