These Cream Cheese Cinnamon Sugar Rolls are soft, gooey, and irresistibly sweet with a creamy cheesecake-style filling wrapped in flaky dough and coated in buttery cinnamon sugar. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert.
Ingredients
- 1 package crescent roll dough or puff pastry
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (coating)
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon (coating)
Instructions
- Mix cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon until smooth.
- Roll out dough and cut into squares.
- Add 1–2 tsp filling to each square and seal tightly.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12–15 minutes until golden.
- Alternatively air fry at 350°F for 6–8 minutes.
- Brush warm rolls with melted butter.
- Roll in cinnamon sugar mixture until fully coated.
- Serve warm for best gooey texture.

- Seal edges tightly to prevent filling leakage.
- Do not overfill rolls.
- Best served warm for gooey center.
