Description

Chicken Lettuce Wraps are a quick, low-carb, high-protein meal made with savory ground chicken, a flavorful Asian-inspired sauce, and fresh crunchy vegetables wrapped in crisp lettuce leaves.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp peanut oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup carrots, julienned
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, diced
  • 8 butter lettuce leaves
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp sriracha
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/3 cup honey roasted peanuts
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds


Instructions

  1. Whisk sauce ingredients and set aside.
  2. Cook ground chicken in oil until browned.
  3. Add garlic, carrots, and bell pepper; cook briefly.
  4. Pour in sauce and cook until thickened.
  5. Spoon mixture into lettuce leaves.
  6. Top with peanuts, green onions, and sesame seeds.
  7. Serve immediately.

  • Ground turkey can be used instead of chicken.
