Description

This fresh and fruity blackberry lemon mocktail is a refreshing blend of sweet blackberries, tangy lemon juice, and bubbly sparkling water. It’s easy to prepare and perfect for parties, summer gatherings, or whenever you want a delicious alcohol-free drink.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh blackberries
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup honey or simple syrup, adjusted to taste
  • 2 cups sparkling water or club soda
  • Ice cubes, for serving
  • Fresh mint leaves, optional for garnish
  • Extra blackberries and lemon slices, optional for garnish

Instructions

  1. Add the fresh blackberries to a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour the blackberry mixture through a fine-mesh strainer to remove the seeds and collect the juice.
  3. In a pitcher, combine the strained blackberry juice, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and honey or simple syrup. Stir until well mixed.
  4. Gently stir in the sparkling water or club soda to add bubbles.
  5. Fill serving glasses with ice and pour the blackberry lemon mocktail over the ice.
  6. Garnish with fresh mint, extra blackberries, or lemon slices if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust sweetness: Add more honey or simple syrup to taste. Start with less and adjust after mixing.
  • Try a citrus twist: Substitute fresh lime juice for lemon juice for a different flavor.
  • Make it for a crowd: Multiply the ingredients to prepare more servings for parties and gatherings.
  • Frozen blackberries: Frozen blackberries can be used if fresh ones are unavailable. Thaw them before blending for easier preparation.
  • Keep it bubbly: Add the sparkling water just before serving to preserve the fizz.
  • Serving tip: Serve over plenty of ice and garnish with fresh mint, blackberries, or lemon slices.
