Ingredients
- 1 can chickpeas (drained and rinsed)
- 2 tbsp vegan mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp halal buffalo hot sauce
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 celery stalk (finely diced)
- 1 small carrot (grated)
- 2 tbsp red onion (finely diced)
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 4 large tortillas or whole wheat wraps (halal-certified)
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar or vegan cheese (optional)
- 1/4 cup halal ranch or yogurt dressing (optional)
Instructions
- Mash chickpeas in a bowl using a fork.
- Add mayonnaise, buffalo sauce, lemon juice, celery, carrot, onion, parsley, and spices.
- Mix until well combined.
- Lay tortillas flat and add lettuce and tomatoes.
- Spoon chickpea mixture evenly onto each wrap.
- Add cheese or dressing if desired.
- Roll tightly, folding sides inward.
- Slice and serve immediately.
