Description

These Sweet Teriyaki Beef Bites are marinated in a flavorful teriyaki sauce and served with a creamy sesame dipping sauce for a delicious appetizer or main dish.

Ingredients

  • Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb Beef sirloin, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • 2 Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Sesame Cream Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons Tahini
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Water (to thin, if necessary)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Mix well to create the marinade.
  2. Add the beef cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and let marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator for more flavor.
  3. After marinating, remove the beef from the marinade and toss with cornstarch until evenly coated.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the beef cubes in a single layer (you may need to cook in batches) and cook for about 3–4 minutes or until browned and cooked through. Flip halfway.
  5. Remove the beef bites from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together sour cream, tahini, soy sauce, honey, and sesame oil until smooth. Add water if needed to thin.
  7. Arrange the beef bites on a serving platter. Drizzle with sesame cream and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
