Ingredients
- Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Beef sirloin, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 1/4 cup Soy sauce
- 1/4 cup Brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Sesame oil
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil (for frying)
- 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds (for garnish)
- 2 Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Sesame Cream Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Sour cream
- 2 tablespoons Tahini
- 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon Honey
- 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon Water (to thin, if necessary)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Mix well to create the marinade.
- Add the beef cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and let marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator for more flavor.
- After marinating, remove the beef from the marinade and toss with cornstarch until evenly coated.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the beef cubes in a single layer (you may need to cook in batches) and cook for about 3–4 minutes or until browned and cooked through. Flip halfway.
- Remove the beef bites from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- In a small bowl, whisk together sour cream, tahini, soy sauce, honey, and sesame oil until smooth. Add water if needed to thin.
- Arrange the beef bites on a serving platter. Drizzle with sesame cream and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
