Description

Delicious Sticky Garlic Chicken Noodles featuring tender chicken pieces coated in a flavorful honey-soy garlic sauce, perfectly combined with savory noodles and garnished with fresh green onions and sesame seeds. A quick and easy meal with a balance of sweet, savory, and a hint of spice.

Ingredients

  • Chicken and Sauce
  • 1 lb chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Noodles and Garnish
  • 8 oz noodles (rice noodles or egg noodles)
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and red chili flakes to make the sauce.
  2. Toss chicken pieces with cornstarch until evenly coated.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  4. Add chicken and cook for 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and cooked through.
  5. Pour sauce over the chicken and simmer for 2–3 minutes until thick and sticky.
  6. Cook noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  7. Add noodles to the skillet and toss well to coat evenly with sauce and chicken.
  8. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving hot.

Notes

  • Chicken thighs give a juicier result; breasts are leaner.
  • Adjust red chili flakes to control heat level.
  • Sesame oil can replace vegetable oil for a nuttier flavor.
  • Use rice noodles for a gluten-free option.
  • Fresh herbs or chopped peanuts add extra texture.
