Description
This Slow Cooker Creamed Corn is rich, buttery, and unbelievably creamy — the easiest hands-off side dish for holidays, potlucks, or weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
- 3 (15.25-ounce) cans whole kernel corn, drained
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 8 ounces cream cheese, cubed
- ½ cup unsalted butter, cut into thin slices
Instructions
- Add the drained corn to the slow cooker.
- Stir in the milk, sugar, and black pepper.
- Top with the cubed cream cheese and sliced butter.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 3–4 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Stir well before serving until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
Notes
- For a thicker texture, replace whole milk with heavy cream.
- Add a pinch of cayenne or smoked paprika for extra flavor.
