Description
Delicious peanut butter brownie cookies drizzled with white chocolate for a delightful treat.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (for drizzling)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, stirring until well combined and glossy.
- Sift in the cocoa powder, flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix gently with a spatula until the dough is thick and fudgy.
- If possible, chill the dough for 30 minutes to help the cookies hold their shape.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Scoop the dough into tablespoon-sized balls, place 2 inches apart, and flatten slightly.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are set but centers look slightly soft.
- Cool completely.
- Melt white chocolate chips in 20-second microwave intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Drizzle melted white chocolate over cookies in zig-zag lines. Let set before storing.
Notes
- Chilling the dough improves texture but is optional.
- Use dark chocolate chips instead of white chocolate for a richer flavor.
- Store cookies in an airtight container for up to one week.
