Description

Experience a mouthwatering blend of juicy ground beef, a drizzle of hot honey, and fluffy rice all in one bowl! It’s a flavor explosion that’s easy to make and oh-so-satisfying.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1/4 cup hot honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions, for garnish
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic; sauté 3–4 minutes until translucent.
  2. Add ground beef and cook 6–8 minutes, breaking it up, until fully browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
  3. Stir in hot honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
  4. Add cooked rice and stir until well coated. Cook 2 more minutes to meld flavors.
  5. Remove from heat and serve in bowls.
  6. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add more hot honey or red pepper flakes.
  • You can substitute ground chicken or turkey for beef.
  • Serve with steamed vegetables for a balanced meal.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge up to 3 days.
