Description

Tender, juicy chicken bathed in a rich garlic butter sauce with a splash of wine for extra flavor. This easy stovetop chicken recipe is ready in just 15 minutes and is sure to become a family favorite.


Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 ½ pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts, pounded to an even thickness
  • 12 teaspoons 21 Salute seasoning or poultry seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt, or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, or to taste
  • ½ cup white wine or chicken broth
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely minced
  • 2 teaspoons fresh parsley, optional (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Add olive oil to a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and season evenly with seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook undisturbed for 5 minutes to sear.
  2. Flip chicken and cook another 5 minutes, or until cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.
  3. Carefully deglaze the skillet with wine or broth, allowing it to bubble and steam for a few seconds.
  4. Add butter and stir continuously until melted, about 1 minute.
  5. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  6. Turn off heat, return chicken to skillet, coat with sauce, and spoon sauce over the top.
  7. Garnish with parsley if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Wine: White wine adds the best flavor, but chicken broth works well if preferred.
