Description

These Feta Rolls with Chili Honey are crispy, savory, and drizzled with a sweet-spicy glaze. Perfect as an appetizer, snack, or party bite!

Ingredients

    • For the Rolls
    • 810 phyllo sheets or spring roll wrappers
    • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
    • 1/4 cup cream cheese (optional)
    • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
    • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
    • 1/2 tsp black pepper
    • 23 tbsp vegetable oil (for brushing or frying)

    • For the Chili Honey
    • 1/4 cup honey
    • 1 tsp chili flakes
    • 1/2 tsp lemon juice

  • Optional Toppings
  • Sesame seeds
  • Extra chili flakes
  • Fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Make the Filling: In a bowl, mix crumbled feta, cream cheese, parsley, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  2. Assemble Rolls: Place a spoonful of filling on one end of a phyllo sheet or wrapper. Roll tightly and seal edges with a bit of water.
  3. Cook: Either pan-fry the rolls in a little oil until golden and crispy, or brush lightly with oil and bake at 190°C (375°F) for 15–18 minutes.
  4. Make Chili Honey: Warm the honey, chili flakes, and lemon juice together for 15–20 seconds.
  5. Serve: Drizzle warm chili honey over the rolls and top with sesame seeds or extra parsley.

Notes

  • Use spring roll wrappers for a crispier texture; phyllo gives a lighter, flakier finish.
  • Add chopped spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor.
  • These rolls reheat well in the air fryer.
