- 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/4 cup cream cheese (optional)
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2–3 tbsp vegetable oil (for brushing or frying)
-
- For the Chili Honey
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- Optional Toppings
- Sesame seeds
- Extra chili flakes
- Fresh parsley
Instructions
- Make the Filling: In a bowl, mix crumbled feta, cream cheese, parsley, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Assemble Rolls: Place a spoonful of filling on one end of a phyllo sheet or wrapper. Roll tightly and seal edges with a bit of water.
- Cook: Either pan-fry the rolls in a little oil until golden and crispy, or brush lightly with oil and bake at 190°C (375°F) for 15–18 minutes.
- Make Chili Honey: Warm the honey, chili flakes, and lemon juice together for 15–20 seconds.
- Serve: Drizzle warm chili honey over the rolls and top with sesame seeds or extra parsley.
Notes
- Use spring roll wrappers for a crispier texture; phyllo gives a lighter, flakier finish.
- Add chopped spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor.
- These rolls reheat well in the air fryer.
