Description

This Easy Creamy Meat Lasagna is cheesy, saucy, and comforting. Layers of seasoned meat sauce, creamy cheese mixture, and tender noodles create a classic lasagna everyone will love.


Ingredients

    • For the Meat Sauce
    • 1 lb ground beef
    • 1 small onion, diced
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 3 cups tomato sauce or marinara
    • 1 tbsp tomato paste
    • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
    • 1/2 tsp paprika
    • Salt & pepper, to taste

 

    • For the Creamy Cheese Layer
    • 1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese (or cottage cheese)
    • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
    • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
    • 1 large egg
    • 1 tsp garlic powder
    • 1 tsp onion powder
    • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped

 

  • For Assembling
  • 912 lasagna noodles (regular or no-boil)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan


Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook Meat Sauce: In a skillet, cook ground beef with diced onion and garlic until browned. Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer 10–15 minutes.
  3. Prepare Cheese Mixture: In a bowl, combine ricotta, 1 cup mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, and parsley.
  4. Assemble Lasagna: Spread a layer of meat sauce in a baking dish. Add a layer of noodles, then cheese mixture. Repeat layers until ingredients are used, ending with noodles and remaining 2 cups mozzarella and 1/2 cup Parmesan on top.
  5. Bake: Cover with foil and bake 25–30 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Rest & Serve: Let lasagna rest 5–10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.

Notes

  • No-boil noodles save time, but regular noodles work as well.
  • Swap ground beef for ground turkey for a lighter version.
  • Add sautéed spinach or mushrooms for extra veggies.
