As a busy mom, I know how precious time can be, especially when it comes to dinner. That’s why I absolutely love making Crockpot Kielbasa and Green Beans. With hearty kielbasa, fresh green beans, and tender baby potatoes, this slow cooker meal is comforting, flavorful, and perfect for hectic evenings.
Ingredients
- 1 lb kielbasa or smoked sausage, sliced into 1-inch pieces
- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed (or 2 cans green beans, drained)
- 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons butter, cut into pieces
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Add sliced kielbasa, green beans, potatoes, and onions to the crockpot.
- Sprinkle with garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Pour chicken broth over the top and dot with butter.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours until potatoes are tender.
- Stir gently halfway through cooking.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and Parmesan cheese before serving if desired.
Notes
- Serve as a complete meal or with crusty bread or cornbread.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Add red pepper flakes for extra heat.
