Description

Creamy Parmesan Steak Pasta is the ultimate cozy family dinner, featuring tender steak slices tossed with pasta in a rich, garlicky Parmesan cream sauce. Comforting, hearty, and ready in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 12 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. Season steak with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  5. Add heavy cream and milk, stirring constantly. Stir in Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer until sauce thickens.
  6. Add cooked pasta and steak back to the skillet and toss to coat evenly.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for the smoothest sauce.
  • Add reserved pasta water if the sauce becomes too thick.
  • Serve immediately for best texture and flavor.
