Ingredients
- 1 loaf crusty Italian bread
- 1 lb fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup lump crab meat (or imitation crab)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp butter, melted
- 1 Tbsp chopped parsley
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice Italian bread in half horizontally, then cut into 3–4 inch sections.
- Cook shrimp in a skillet until just pink, then roughly chop.
- In a bowl, combine cream cheese, mozzarella, crab meat, shrimp, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Hollow out bread pieces slightly and fill generously with the seafood mixture.
- Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with parsley.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
- Serve warm with lemon wedges or a creamy dipping sauce.
