Ingredients
- 113 g unsalted butter, melted
- 120 g all-purpose flour
- 200 g granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 240 ml milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 ripe bananas, sliced
- 100 g light brown sugar, packed
- 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Optional: 50 g chopped walnuts or pecans
- Optional: 85 g chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Stir in melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Pour batter into prepared baking dish.
- Arrange sliced bananas evenly over the batter.
- In a separate bowl, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and optional nuts or chocolate chips, then sprinkle over the top.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes or until golden and set.
- Serve warm, optionally with ice cream or whipped cream.
