These Christmas Pizza Bites are the ultimate festive appetizer — warm, cheesy, and bite-sized! Made with refrigerated pizza dough, mozzarella, and pepperoni, they’re baked golden and brushed with garlic butter for a holiday crowd-pleaser everyone will love.
Ingredients
- 2 tubes refrigerated pizza dough
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup mini pepperoni or chopped salami
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- Optional: chopped basil, crushed red pepper, or festive toppings like sliced olives or bell peppers
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Set to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Prepare dough: Unroll the pizza dough and cut each tube into small 2-inch squares.
- Assemble bites: Add a small amount of mozzarella, pepperoni or salami, and a sprinkle of Parmesan to the center of each square. Fold and pinch edges to seal into small balls.
- Arrange: Place the bites seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet in a wreath shape or scattered pattern for fun holiday presentation.
- Brush & season: Whisk the egg and brush over each bite. Sprinkle with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
- Bake: Bake for 15–18 minutes, until golden brown and puffed.
