This cheesy chicken and broccoli pasta bake is a comforting, creamy, and family-friendly dinner loaded with tender chicken, pasta, broccoli, and melted cheddar cheese.
Ingredients
- For the Bake:
- 2 cups uncooked pasta (penne or rotini)
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 lb chicken breast (cooked and shredded)
- 2 cups cheddar cheese (divided)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Optional: breadcrumbs for topping
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Set oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- Cook Pasta: Boil pasta until al dente, drain, and set aside.
- Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine pasta, shredded chicken, broccoli, half the cheese, sour cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Assemble: Transfer mixture into baking dish and spread evenly.
- Top: Sprinkle remaining cheese and optional breadcrumbs on top.
- Bake: Bake for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Serve: Let cool slightly before serving.
