Description

Cajun Garlic Chicken Wings that are crispy, flavorful, and perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1.2 kg chicken wings, separated at joints, tips removed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 4 large garlic cloves, finely minced
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil, place a wire rack on top if available.
  2. Pat wings dry with paper towels for crispiness.
  3. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Toss wings to coat thoroughly.
  4. Arrange wings in a single layer on the prepared rack or baking sheet with space between each wing.
  5. Roast for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden, crispy, and cooked through.
  6. Meanwhile, melt butter in a small pan over low heat. Add minced garlic and cook 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  7. Transfer wings to a large bowl. Pour garlic butter over and toss to coat evenly.
  8. Garnish with parsley if desired and serve immediately.

  • For extra spice, increase cayenne pepper.
