Cajun Garlic Chicken Wings that are crispy, flavorful, and perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1.2 kg chicken wings, separated at joints, tips removed
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- 4 large garlic cloves, finely minced
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil, place a wire rack on top if available.
- Pat wings dry with paper towels for crispiness.
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Toss wings to coat thoroughly.
- Arrange wings in a single layer on the prepared rack or baking sheet with space between each wing.
- Roast for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden, crispy, and cooked through.
- Meanwhile, melt butter in a small pan over low heat. Add minced garlic and cook 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Transfer wings to a large bowl. Pour garlic butter over and toss to coat evenly.
- Garnish with parsley if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra spice, increase cayenne pepper.
- Ensure wings are spaced out for even cooking.
